  Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.
  
  The Sacrament of Baptism takes place the second Saturday and last Sunday of each month. Baptism Preperation Program takes place on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm
  
  Congratulations on the birth/pending birth of your child! We are encouraged that you are now seeking baptism for your child and we, your parish community, wish to share in the joy of this celebration with you. The baptism of your child is a very important opportunity for you, the parents, to reaffirm your Catholic faith. By asking for baptism, you are stating and affirming that you will actively participate in the spiritual life and Catholic faith development of your child. To help you to be more fully aware of the great significance and importance of this joyful sacrament, we here at Corpus Christi Parish are more than happy to help you and your child in his/her initiation into this Catholic community and the Catholic Church as a whole.
